why does it show july as a date for it when i press *#0000#, we are now in september...?

I think that's just the date when the firmware was compiled or something. It doesn't represent the day it was released nor the date you installed it.
It says on the front page there's a new visualisation on the 8gb one. What visualisation have they added?

i used content copier to restore everything and again no problems at all...
apart from the whole process taking me about 7 hours from starting updating to re setting my phone up.
cant see any new music player visualisations on v30 like what was said and which is the new theme?

Update for Flash Lite 3 (improved viewing of sites like YouTube) hope it is better now, and doesnt crash as much
Current consumption improvements (for e.g. WLAN scanning) ok will wait and see
New baseline for VoIP (with significant error corrections) how do i test this?
Incoming call number is displayed in additon to name of the contact will wait til i get a call
Realplayer supports FLV format (i.e FLV files can be played directly like MP4) not sure how to test this

I have an unlocked n95 8gb (product code 0558787) but for some reason the software updater is telling me i have the latest version (v20)...has nokia taken the update back down again?
I don't normally have any problems updating!
And what about N Gage games after update. Are they OK?

Hmmm, 0558787 is that curious UK unbranded version that is always behind the latest.
Product code 0558787 is on v20.0.016
Product code 0549487 (Euro1) is up to v30.0.018.
