I bought a 6120c about ten months ago on ebay. It was locked to the 3 network. I didn't mind this since I was a 3 customer. However, once my 3 contract was up (the contract had been initiated with an N70 some time before) I decided to get the phone unlocked and move to O2. I did this for reasons of coverage. Where I live the 3 3g signal is weak and you find the phone switching back and forth from the 3g signal to the 2g signal. It does your head in because calls drop out and you lose internet connection etc.
Anyway, I like O2 but I have a problem. Although I am able to access the internet well enough (on the phone), I cannot get mobile web server to work, neither can I get Gmail to work on the messaging application, neither can I get the Gsync application to work. All of these applications at some point call on the O2 internet connection to kick in and for some reason it doesn't seem to be doing it for me. All of these applications worked well for me before, whilst the phone was still on 3.
Anyone with any ideas?
