Whoa. Some UIQ 3 news? I'm stunned. It's good news too, with the remote TV/video-watching solution SlingPlayer now available for all UIQ 3-based smartphones. You'll have to buy a SlingBox too, of course... (via MIR) Anyone out there got the kit and inclination to find out how well it works?

Read on in the full article.

There has been more UIQ news...for instance i find funny to not find a single reference to the fact there is flash support now on UIQ3...

Not only that, Gdesk, one of the best apps ever made to any type of smartphone has been updated several times, and you never reference it...if it was some pointless s60 v3 app, it would be all over AAS

And there has been more...you just need to folow uiqblog...but i guess now you have a proper justification to ignore UIQ

We do follow the official S-E and UIQ blogs. But nothing had popped up. And noone in the S-E or UIQ worlds ever seems to get in touch, you know, *telling* people what they're up to.

Unlike in the Nokia/S60 world, where we're bombarded with press releases and news.

We do what we can. Also, and I'm passing the buck a bit here, Rafe's more the UIQ fan and I kind of rely on him handling anything that comes along that's UIQ-related. For this one, he's in Finland and wasn't available.

Yeah ive got the program on my P1i
Over 3G and WiFi its great. I can watch and control all my TV functions on the move from my P1i.
Without 3G its a bit jumpy...
If you're on satelite / cable etc you can access all your on demand and interactive content too...
I think its a really sweet bit of kit... shame it doesnt look like coming to Java phones any time soon
