conversation app

I been using the conversation app on my n95 for about a month now and the one thing i really dont like about it is it never figures out the words i use. I could keep typing in the same word over and over but the T9 in the conversation app just doesnt pik that up and i always have to spell it out and its very time consuming. Sometimes it does pick up the words i use and it works fine for a while but after a few days or sometimes after i reset my phone it forgets them again. Anyone no what the deal is?

I've had a slightly different problem. It'll remember words for me. But then sometime down the road, it will "forget" the words and I have to re-enter the words in the database.

can someone point me in the direction of which version i need as the one i have downloded wont even load once installed

you forgot to install the internet services pack file. its the first file on the download page above the actual conversation installer.

many people complain about this, that conversations does not register new words into the T9 dictionary. and then other people experience the opposite where conversations resets the T9 dictionary every few weeks or so. the latter sometimes happened to me...

but i still love conversations and use it constantly!

no there wont be any more updates to the conversation app from the last i've heard. but then again, the app is still in beta, so at some point i would think they have to update it again to make it the final version. so maybe there is still hope!

IMHO Conversation is one of the best and most useful Beta prog's ever made and more than deserves to be updated and featured in future firmware releases and not left to languish without attention for 9 months.
Come on Nokia, with just a little effort you have a real winner here!

iv had this problem with t9 database resetting itself for long before conversation was ever installed, i dont think its due to the app.
