Memory Managers

Remember the good old MS-DOS days when we only have 1MB of memory on our 386-486 CPU's. We have programs like QEMM and I forgot the other one.

So is it possible to have a program like that for NOkia 7650?
It's just an idea i want to post here. Thanks.

There are two memory managers, more of compressors. These are the SpaceDoubler and the Stacker(formerly SmartCompress). Try out these two and choose one. Check out Handango for both apps.

I choose SpaceDoubler though. 😃

Well guys I think he means RAM compression.

QEMM and Magnaram if I am not wrong.
The second one was part of the first but you could get a seperate version which in my opinion was better than QEMM's built in.Anyway let's leave history back.

Psiloc's Task manager has a built compression memory and I think there are more tools than that.

If you can't find this option press and hold the menu key until task manager comes out and then press left key-tools-compress memory.
It cansave some space but it's not as good as magnaram of the PCs

3650 has less memory than 7650.
You can notice that if you boot the devices and see the free mem.
I think it is about 1meg less.
So 3650 users have some hard time to play some games or stuff
like Doom which not only take too much space on the flash memory butit also need too much RAM.

I won't mention big Game Boy (color) games/roms for the Goboy emulator...

Kewl man, another reason not to get that 3650. Good and it is confirmed I saw this matter also.

I have a SmartCompress.SIS file, and SmartCompress.app
how i can use SmartCompress.app file to get the crack????

yipee!

What are you all on?!?!

ok, 3650 has 1meg less ram, thats not cool, but not such a hassle as having no physical memory expansion!! GRRRR!! i am so "pissed-off" at nokia, spent all my hard earned cash, cos i LOVE 7650, one month later the "same" thing but with mmc cards!!

dont much apreciate the 3650, but the fact is, for instance, when a camcorder app comes out withou the 100k limit (and it is soon to be), 3650 will be albe to record say, 30 mins of audio video thanks to mmc cards, and we will only HOPE, one day, someone, bring to life some sort of bluetooth carry around...errr...500megs storage stick that has a fast enough transfer rate to be usable!!!

Ive seen the toshiba, but its gonna cost way more than the phone itself and has 5GB.

Hmm just thinking could you get a 3650 and use that as the memory dump - you know hide it in a bag coz its so ugly and take stuff off it with the 7650?

If used both and I can tell you both work cool! I'd maybe recommend Stacker because of the looks, but anything else.
