Couple Issues After Debranding and FW upgrade to v30

OK...I'm not sure if someone has asked this or not, so here it goes

Before upgrading my fw, i used PC Suite to backup my phone, upgrade went fine and i went to restore my phone.

First thing I noticed was that some applications that came with the phone went missing.

Also, some themes that came pre-installed are gone.

Is there a way to restore these things that came from the operator?

I still have the file i saved on to the pc.

Appreciate all of the help in advance.

Sorry, I have the N95 8GB from Cellcom Israel

If you have "debranded" then you will lose any features/prog's that were part and parcel of your operators branded firmware.
You should not attempt to restore Settings after a debrand and upgrade as you will be attempting to restore the settings of the branded firmware which will not be compatible with your new firmware.

yeap, that's my experiences too. All the diy firmware are generic, so after several tries of diy update attempts, i always visit the nokia care center for the operator or regional customize fw, which offers more than a generic fw.😎
