Vodafone Live favourites but with T-Mobile.

Hi everyone,

Great site here. I'm about to register. First though, I have a little problem that I hope you guys can help me with.

I bought a Nokia 7650 on Vodafone, but am using a T-Mobile SIM card. My SW version is 4.39. In Favourites there are references to Vodafone Live, but of course as I am using T-Mobile these are pointless for me. I was wondering if any of you know how to remove them, or at least change them to point to the T-Mobile portal? I can't find a Remove option for these links, nor can I find anything using SeleQ.

I tried copying the Z:\System\Apps\Pinboard folder to C:\System\Apps and removing the Vodafone Live stuff to try to override the Z:\ but I just get 'System Error' when trying to load Favourites.

Thanks for any help you guys can give 😊

Dont know if this helps but I have a Vodafone Live! enabled (screwed) GX-10. The Live! Settings and features are hard coded and cannot be changed. The same is true of the Vodafone GD87, so it may be true of your 7650?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I do think they can be altered though, surely? Maybe if the Pinboard can be successfully copied to c:\ overriding z:\ then just delete the Vodafone Live files it would work? But I get 'System Error' so I might be missing a file from Libs or something....

I hope it can work because I deleted the actual WAP bookmarks to Vodafone Live so the shortcuts in the favourites are 'dead' and when I click them I get 'Favourites: System Error' :-?

Anyone have any ideas? The phone was originally v4.24 so I had it upgraded to v4.39 in hope that the Vodafone Live stuff would be removed but alas it remained 😞

Any ideas?

Hi,

Got it sorted, the Vodafone Live favourites have now been erased 😊
