Now you can get 128 MB MMC (MultiMediaCard) from Tima Scientific. I really do hope they can work well and are compatible with our 9210 Communicator...

and this will definitely get all those NIM FREAKS excited... just like me...

The 128 MB cards will be available for shipping in the first week of April.

Checkout http//www.timasci.com/mmc.htm for more details...

WOW I'II be buying a few of those 128Mb MMc cards, I can't wait!

Although I don't think I'Ii buy any because there form the States, and I may experience problems in returning them back if they don't work.

So if you (the guy above ) buy one and it works then let me know!

Can confirm they work okay, I bought one from Tima, it took about 4 weeks for the supplier to replenish their stock, but once it had been received and despatched by Tima I received it in a few days, delivery charges were minimal. Also, they didn't charge my VISA until they despached the goods!

the card needed to be formatted before I could get the Nokia to recognise it, and it took quite a while (20 mins), but all went okay, although it believes it is only 122Mb not 128Mb, and I was able to restore files from my 16Mb with no problems.

Been using it now for 3 weeks and not experienced anything unusual.

Hope it helps you all, I spent ages looking for a source of MMC that was not SD, at a reasonable price, and Tima did the job.

I'm using a 64 MB card now.
From the moment that i started using the last 10 MB, my 9210 gets slower and slower.
I already deleted the ini files, and i'm having 3263 KB free on my C Drive.
My gess is it slows down because of my MMC is getting full.
I wonder how this works with the 128 MB.

Yeah, i'm really curious too!!!
Does it slows down the 9210???
