also today v11 was released for some n96 sim free versions what did'nt already have the it released like my UK version

I already updated my E71 to 110.07.127 in Nokia Service Center last friday. Besides having problems when trying to restore my data from memory card (no calendar entries, had to sync it with PC) I CAN NOT switch to silent profile by pressing #-key anymore!!!
Does anyone else have this problem?

Regards,

Adrian

My E71-1 is quite fine after I upgraded to 110.07.127, the # works fine for switching between General and Silent pofiles, as earlier. Did you try restarting the phone once?

I've got a UK sim-free E71 but the updater says I have the latest software: 100.07.76. Does anyone know which versions this update applies to?

I have a Simlock free E71-1 (RM-346). When I try to update, the software comes back with that there is no firmware update available. I'll keep on trying, but I don't understand why there is no firmware as this a completely "free" phone independent of carriers.

-I had the same, and the manual check (using the number under the battery) also said no updates.

after complaining to nokia support 2-3 times (the announced the fw nov.11) they said it must be a "branded phone". I tried again with nokia updater 2 days ago an - yes - it worked.

I think nokia forgot to put the fw on the update server or it was melted down. No official explanation.
