Shapeservices RDM+ works well.

It works by installing an app which runs in the background, but it means that you can upload, download, and view your PC's desktop from anywhere in the world.

I also use TSM from the same company, but it uses an IP address, which my ISP keeps changing, so for me, RDM+ is a much better solution.

You could do worse than have a look at Orb.

I find it's a good jack of all trades ; uPnP server for the Xbox - and it'll re-encode on the fly ... streaming via Flash for the Wii, streaming via Realplayer for the E90 and also 3gp for the wife's N80. The option to share files on your PC is also very good ; and if you have a TV card, you can stream tv to your device too. And your machine is accessable from t'internet.

I find it works nicely with the most recent stable ffdshow release (the last major release stuttered considerably on my Dual Core 1.8 CPU ... although was find on Quad Core 2.2).
