Nokia's supposed Sports Tracker replacement, viNe, is now available to all, it seems. It geotags photos and videos and lets you plot them later on the viNe web site. More on this later, I suspect. What do you think of Nokia viNe? The jury's still out chez Litchfield.... (via CJ)

this starts to be a bad joke how these nokia sites do not work with their own browser. just shows the imcompetence that they have.

The phone icon that shows you which phone was used makes it look like a huge ad campaign.

A mobile website would have been nice.

Hmmmmmm...

Not compatible with the N95 Classic. If you try and install the N95 8GB version, the installer tells you it isn't compatible and asks if you want to proceed.

Ho hum.

Not compatible with the N95 Classic.

The Sports Tracker runs on the N95 classic and most E series phones. Try that instead.

sportstracker.nokia.com/nts/

it's NGage2 all over again. compatible with 7 handsets? what percentage of Symbian handset owners have one of the 7 latest models?

I can't even see the site on my PC browser (that alone my phone browser!) as you need the latest flash edition.

As 90% of my browsing is done at work and I don't have aadmin rights to install flash upgrades this is useless! 😡

I'm surprised that Nikio use this latest technology - is it really necessary for the app? :con?

The Nokia Tracker site works fine without it - what so different?

I already do which is why I'm surprised the N95 Classic is not officially supported.

And I have no problems with the website whatsoever, by the way 😊

Exactly, incompetence! That this site does not work on nokia's own browser is a joke.

No thanks Nokia, get your stuff in order first.

That's because it kind of is. Is the website URL nokiavine.com? No, it's nseries.com/vine, and embedded into their Nseries marketing portal, which means all the navigation around the application is about selling devices, not letting you dive deeper into the viNe data or export it or embed it or really do anything else.

And no, it doesn't use Skyhook. I wasted about 20 minutes total waiting for a lock indoors/at windows in NYC today and never got one.
