Yes bbc iplayer now working !!!

for me the program works once everytime i download it and have to download again to make it work

Hi, i will give it another go for the 3rd time but still think i will get the same error message, is this a strange one and what else would you suggest, also i tried to test it over the 02 mobile web settings ie 3g, and it tells me to cahnge the banwith settings within realplayer, do you no what i need to change them to or anybody else no what the correct bandwith settings are within realplayer over 3g ? Thought would be good to be able to watch something when you are out and about away from your home wifi network..

when i was on o2 i couldnt stream to real player either, for any video. Id advice you ask for settings in an o2 store

If I try to play something RealPlayer says "Unable to play media clip". Real Player is set to use WiFi and so is the browser. This previously worked fine. Also on the Download (which has never worked) it says "You can download this program if you switch to a wifi connection".

It must think I'm not on WiFi. Any ideas?

good to hear that u got it working...unfortunately i got it too to work somewhat...works only through wifi but i am unable to view it due to country restrictions...i

I have now gone back to beta 1.5.0 of bbc iplayer and as long as I connect through vodafone live (I'm on a vodafone contract) I can get the player to work. If I connect through normal mobile internet I'm asked to connect though wifi.

I attach the iplayer beta 1.5.0 below. Had to zip it so I could attach it here

Got the same problem, n if there is a solution on here i cant c it cos i'm on my phone not pc.

Some guidance on this would b a touch.

I use a nokia n95 8gb on 30.0.18 firmware wiv no mods on o2.

If anyone is still having problems, even with iPlayer 1.5, PM me your email address for a copy of iPlayer 1.0.

It seems like a lot of stress to set this up. Hopefully it will be a standard feature on future Nokia phones.
