Thats really great news, at least for Metal Gear fans like me. I just wonder if it has something to do with the main story line(MGS3:Snake Eater>MGS: Portable Ops>Metal Gear>Metal Gear II:Solid Snake>MGS>MGS2:Sons of Liberty>MGS4:Guns of Patriots).
As you may know, Metal Gear Acid and Acid 2 doesnt have anything common with the main story, except the main character(Solid Snake), of course.
Iam looking forward to play it on my girlfriends Nokia N79, because there is no N-GAGE support for E71 which I own.
By the way, does anybody know where can I get the original Metal Gear, and Metal Gear II: Solid Snake? I have heard that Konami released them as Java games, but I couldnt find it on the internet. If anybody can help me with this, I will be very greatful.
This one fits in between MGS and MGS2 sons of liberty apparantly, but only played the trail version so cant say how much story it actually involves (nokia wont activate it for me yet 😞)
i dont know about java games of metal gear 1 and 2 but you could always get vnes and roms for your phone?
how i know whether the phone is n-gage support or not?
Go to N-Gage DOT com and click on "Get N-Gage" at the top - there's a list of supported devices there
Hi guyz, i heard that MGS is only 2.5 MB. So i was thnkng, how a 2.5 MB game cn be so mind blowng? 2.5 MB is nthng in HD quality (ngage title) category games. Even non-ngage games are above 10MB... So hows that?

5 mins with this game & i cant help but wonder if this game is a joke? I have a powerful portable gaming device (my n958gig) in my hands with large RAM and graphics acceleration, and my Game Gear could've powered this game.
Additionally, I cant even run diagonally what's that about..! Good job i have an iphone otherwise id have to put up with games that match the lowest specced N or E series. Disappointing.
This and all other n-gage games would've been a success in 1995. Lets hope big flashy graphics, plot lines, flashier advertisements (not quite as much as the 360 mind!), multi-player, accelerometer, gps and more camera controls might make n-gage very '2009'. Pull ur socks up Nokia. Make N-Gagers feel like a priority and give us something new and exciting that only a phone can do. And make none N-gagers know what ur gaming commitments are (or arent?)
I bought the 24 hour pass for 1.50 and I'm glad I did as I finished the game in well under a day.
