I was wondering wat everyones loadtimes are with the pics (babes) at www.greysworld.com/wap/index.wml or via http://wap.the7650.com/index.wml (the pics section)
We've made little preview gif's of +/- 500 bytes each.

but your images use 580 bytes...
i use GREYscale and use 350 bytes... so more fast to load 😃

BTW! ...
200 x 150 is not an standard for 7650 backgrounds ...
174 x 132 is the standard ...
The 7650 autorescale for background make the picture look more blur...
you can compare the original image at the photoalbum and the background that look blur if you don�t match the stardard size.
better if you rescale from the original large pic (800 x 600 etc..) direct
to 174 x 132 in one sigle process to keep the quality for the image.
just a suggestion...

Anyway I like both sites.
But, please update them more, and also use more 7650 friendly resolutions for the uploaded pictures (as AEFOX said).
PS: When I say update them more I mean upload more stuff (images is enough for me). I have about one more month of free wap gprs access through Vodafone Live, so u understand... 😉 😃 😃 :angel:

the 200*150 pics are perfect for your backround image it's not full screen you know 😃
i resice the pics from 1024*768 to 200*150...
and on my 7650 they look great....

ok... just try this and you tell me later...
same image...
put one on 200 x 150... like a Background image...
and then try the same image.. but croped (or resized but with a good program that use bicubic resize option, like Photoshop, then apply some sharp if you want to keep better edges) to 174 x 132 ..
and then tell me.. wish one of them look better like background...
You will see that 174 x 132 look much better than 200 x 150..
because the 200 x 150 was resized by 7650.. and that is not a good function for it.
Just because the natural max size for background image on the 7650 is
174 pixels weight ... and 132 pixels height .. the real totall weight size of the display is 176 pixels, but for images the system leave a margin of one pixel at each side (white edge arround all the image)
That�s why look better the NOT 7650 RESIZED IMAGE...
so .. if you like the BLURY IMAGES .. well.. keep it... and keep thinking that look great.. but it doesn�t ... believe me.
And you can see the image SIZE of the DEFAULT SETTINGS BACKGROUND That came with the phone, and you will see the same.. 174 x 132.
BTW!.. don�t take this like a competition... i am trying to help you to put better quality images on your site.. that�s all.
