Ask yourself a question, you are happy to steal a few measly from a developer thats made an app that you want to use but are too skinflint to try. Would you also steal money out of the homeless man's pot? Would you walk into a newsagents and steal a paper, or a biro and pad of paper from a bookshop?
No? Then don't steal other people's software.
Shame on you! you have to compensate pdevelopers. I hope your 9210 gets busted by installing pirated software!!!
I see by the responses that this is an unpleasant request, but can anyone tell me what a cracked software is?? Cracked open? That's lower than a rattlesnakes ballsac if it's the case, it can only stop developers developing. And that would leave us at the mercy of Nokia!!! ![]()
You are very very naughty.
Right now, the Dynamic Duo (Rafe and Switchblade) are homing in on your computer and will fill your hard drive with jelly and iced raisins....
I curse you with the curse of the Humberside Hummingbird, that it would come and suck your eyeballs out through a McDonalds straw and spit the contents thereof into a ashtray, in some country pub where an old man will cough up his fleghm and spit therein the contents of his lungs.
Or, maybe, I'll just stare disaprovingly at the post that asks for cracks and condescendingly shake my head.
Failing that, I shall tut to myself before getting up to purchase some edible consumer items from the local trading centre.
Whichever I end up doing, you should be spanked by the Spanking Machine of Ho'plath, the machine that spanketh until the spankee (you) are as one with the spanker (the Spanking Machine of Ho'plath).[ This Message was edited by TANKERx on 2002-04-02 1829 ]
Those of here (and fjense seem me all that I do not make exceptions that could doubts above), all those of here, say, are hypocrites, although atheistic. The certain thing is that I am the first one interested in obtaining Warez. That is, gratuitous, gratuitous, gratuitous and nonexpensive, expensive, impagables programs, to the times, outside all nonmillionaire possibility. It is the case that I do not let ask itself... that I cannot let ask to me porqu the world is as it is. And yes. If somebody obtains to a direction in Internet that, officiously, after the freedom of use of the intangible computer science tools, supplies, and never rather, software in conditions for the Nokia, please, exposes it, since not here, in any other side.
Atheistic?
Who's bringing God into this? He may not be best pleased y'know!
The BEST CRACK SITE for people like on pic.

Hmms, judging by the very warped response I'm assuming the warez hunter is a windoze luser, ah well never mind. No need to mess up his machine, windoze will do it for him at some point.
Though I've suddenly realised that he may be after software to do with crack. Never having taken drugs in my life I'm not sure how software on a PDA will help, but maybe we should aid this users drug addiction?
BTW if you are sure you are right, then why post anonymously?

I think (s)he warped the text through a translating service like babelfish. That will give these kind of results. Unfortunately.
NTOO
I don't think I need to say anything after the responses in this thred. Normally I'd just delete it, but I think it serves as a good answer to those who might be tempted in the future.
Just so it is clear - this is not allowed, its illegal. Don't bring it here. Thanks
Rafe
(who will update the site shortly once he has done some work).
Rafe, get some bloody work done!! Is the Cambridge ale really that good??
Forget Cracks, I have just had my seriel no of my 9210 reprogrammed for 5, and I now use my mates programmes on my 9210 for free!
those developers think there really clever tryin to lock the program to a specific 9210, well there not!
AHAHAHAHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I just love getting programmes fro FREE!
Its kinda like ppl taking money out of your bank account! Stealing Yip!
I live on software i write and sell!
And everytime a crack is made i lose on salary!
Not very cool!
All ppl that crack software are proving is that they are a common thief! Oh well!
Ok maybe the person cracking can see it as a test of skill, but some1 useing that crack... Common that all i have to say![ This Message was edited by KayonLord on 2002-04-03 1914 ]
There are some legitimate reasons to use cracks, I have some cracked games on my laptop. The reason they are cracked is so that I don't have to carry the blasted CDs round with me when I go to lan parties and stuff, because you always leave one behind by mistake ![]()
As for changing your IMEI number for getting software free, I think that will invalidate your warranty, so you'll get software free but not upgrades etc. Anyway software on the 9210 is quite affordable, the only app I'd comment on is the price for MP3Go but as I don't use the 9210 for music (much), I'm fine to keep the 60.
I must say I myself love free software, and use it very regularly, as in every day. Is it because it is cracked? No because it is Open Source or GPL. I don't use windoze or software for it (apart from games so it's more like a console) as the prices are too high. But to steal from people who ask a reasonable amount of money for their products is low, and we'll all be looking for people when people stop producing software.

Your mate must be a real sucker if he's paying for you to use software!
BTW, I believe changing IMEI number is illegal. Isn't it used by the networks to identify the phone unqiuely? - kind of like the MAC address of a LAN card? I'd say loads of potential for a screw up...
I've got some cracked software if anyone is intrested....
TomTom City Maps... dropped the CD then stepped on it and it cracked in half.
Can't see why anyone would want a cracked CD as it doesn't work in any CD players that I know of, but if someone wants the shards of the CD then I'll get them out of the bin for you.
I had a weird dream one night where I was eating a CD and it was cutting up my teeth.
TANKERx have you ever been described as emotionally unstable?
It's not just one of my mate's, most of my mates about (11) have got 9210's and they all have the same serial number as when someone buys some software we all share it out!
And all of our phones where brought legally from Carphone Warehouse on the first day they were released for 850 (offline), we were really pissed off with the lack of memory and crappy free applications that we got for 850 so we will always and always never pay the full cost for software!
And we brought our phones offline, because those gits at Orange didn't release one until 7 months after!
And as for the warranty being void thats bollocks, and as for it being illegal that is bollocks as well, its my phone so I can do dame right what I want to do with it!
Oh don't you just love getting software FREE.
Its the same situation with Xbox games, and DVD's my entire DVD collection of about 300 are all copies!

I like to point out that you are robbing different people when not paying for software. Yes the Nokia 9210 was expensive (but that was your choice). You were paying NOKIA. By illegally copying software you are defrauding authors (i.e. in most cases individuals) they put in a lot of effort and your actions will only discourage them. Why aren't you willing to give them a small amount for their hardwork.
By your logic you would buy a car and then never pay for petrol or any other add ons for your car!
If I wasn't so keen on free speech you'd be banned by now. However all I'd say ot other is please don't do it because it hurts the community.
I think I've said my piece now.

You know, sometime I wonder what it is about the site that attracts all the nutters!
I think the software must be for free!!!!!!!!!
The Communicator is expensive enough!!!!!!!
Thierry
Crappy free software with the 9210!? Wash your mouth out with battery acid young man!
TriplePop is poptastic! Bounce is bouncy! The office suite is sweet and the PIM functions are... ermmmmm... well, they're..... ermmmm... brilliant!
If people like you keep ripping pennies from developers, we can expect to see the ever impressive updates to the PowerDatas, Smallbases and ActiveDesks of this world dry up.
i think most of the software that comes with the phone is crap. and they dont do much, so we have to buy better programs from 3rd party developers. but thats nokias fault so im with those that disagree with piracy.
strange cause on the pc, everything i have is pirated(like everyone else in the country), and i have no qualms about that. but for the phone im going real registered all the way.
Gracias.

If not outside by the programs warez that I use in the computer which I use, among other things, to participate in this forum, really, I say, would be still with the Windows 95. One is which until the operating system it pirateado use, and, goes to me of wonder. It is the case that a 80% of the programs that use are warez, and the rest freeware. I have never paid by software and I do not think to do it if I can avoid it, and can, until now at least. If sometimes it bought software for Nokia 9210 already it would this way leave the form to take control of. But, unfortunately, I prefer to little spend or the much money that I have in books and other things of this type. I animate all those that read this to that they obtain to software warez and they expose as we must make it to obtain it the others. In special, street translators, dictionaries and maps. It is the case that to that software does not interest to him warez, that goes away to another forum, and, when he does not let himself to us continue trying to communicate to us by means of this forum to which yes they interest the programs to us warez, because nothing, that throws to us, that throw to us to kicks, that burn to us, if they want, or, rather, if they can. Greetings and I animate, I repeat, to all and all those that you read this. Thanks.
Hey, if you had the choice who to steal from, either the multi million dollar international conglomerate that supports Nokia, or the man who works alone to feed himself and his family, who would you go for? I know who can afford the extra security and who just has to figure out ways of protecting his own business. Protecting s/ware with registration codes is like putting broken glass on top of the wall around your house, it's a last ditch attempt to protect what's yours, and there will always be some ne'er-do-well trying to get your property for free. Around here we call them thieves, but everyone has a right to live their own way!!
