BTW!...

i cant send international MMS by my Operator MMS Server... but!...

I have another Access Point with the same setting to connect by my operator.. but using another MMS Server... that its a free one...

www.nowmms.com

nice server... to send MMS to anybody in the world.. without charges...

but remember that you keep using your GPRS service. (mine its free by now)

cya!

Admin Edit: Pleae PM this person for his number (UK). Its not advisable to post your number in a public forum. <--UK

never sent an MMS or received one cus not one of my friends has an MMS phone on the same network, grrrr

no not yet, looking forward to my first ever mms though, Admin edit: Number removed, please PM user for it, please see above note.

ok...

i think that your Operator need to accept international MMS ...

so!.. that's why i can send it.. but you can't recieve it

same thing to me...

i think that we can only recieve MMS from the same Network... just a restriction from Operators.

i fact i can send an MMS to my self and i recieve it fine...

may be the operator filter any MMS that not came from same country and operator (+58 412 ... ) to me...

That is SAD

And why? ... only to keep people UNCONNECTED from friends on the world? or what?

any ideas?... it's all this true?

cya! :-?

hi..

BTW!

i am using a International MMS service to send... even to my self..

www.nowmms.com

and there you can read that is trully international... but don't work for some operators? or what?

i recieve MMS using that server

cya!

i joined that site aefox and it sent my mms settings to my phone, i saved them and used them as primary access point, i still cant send MMS to myself and MMSNOW cant send me a test mms either 😞

Unfortunately I didn't receive it AEFOX.

It rung that I have a new message and then connected through gprs to receive it but nothing came.I had the same problem when I was trying to send some mms from mmscontend.com.

It's an operators problem or better say limitation.

Just remember the free sms services we had some years ago. They all gone and most of them gone not because of financial problems but because the opperators started banning their services. And we all know why. For money.

But we can sabotage them.

They saw what happened with wap. A total failure because of the prices...
I think that it will happen the same with mms if they won't change their policy.
And, don't tell me that MMS is cheap. If you try to send an mms through a free mms service, you will only pay the gprs fee, and that is what real cost for the providers.

Besides I tried to send two mms to two friends of mine and the both failed. But it cost me 1euro. 1euro for nothing.

HI!..

yep... you right..

BTW! MEMPHISX...

DOWNLOAD the new version of OPLAYO quick!!!..

have nice content about the 3G GSM Convention ...

and!!!! and!!!

A really nice Playboy Playmates Demo!!! 😃

damn! nice! ... and you can direct access to that on the Oplayo
menu OPTIONS / OPLAYO ONLINE... when you update that you will see a folder named PLAYBOY.. enter ther and ENJOY!

i recomend to all that! 8)

cya!

Just tried to install it
After restarting phone and running the proggy it exists givving me an w32 error. Anyway I may try to hard reset the phone and retry but not know, in a few days. I'll be offline for some time now, away from my pc...
Anyway, thanks for the info

YEP!

MMS is not international by now i think... because our OPERATORS..

but is not a limitation of MMS system...

like you can see on www.nowmms.com ... it's avaliable.. but operators are restricting that.. don't know why...

anyway!..

we will see on the future..

cya! 😃

It's a limitation set by the Service Providers/Operators. Not an MMS limitation as you said, And I am sure that when it will be possible to send mms to other opperator's phones or international the prices would be much higher than the current

If you read a little...

Now MMS (www.nowmms.com) IT'S FREE INTERNATIONAL MMS SERVICE..

so!.. the operators have to accept them from all over the World... but right now they are not accepting that...

And i don't said that was MMS limitation.. if you read... i said it's a Operators problem...

so.. read.. then reply..

cya!

Just in case...

NOWMMS:

" How can NowMMS.com be free?

Youll still need to pay your network operator for WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) data access (GPRS or GSM dial-up) to send and receive messages, but you will not be subject to any surcharges for MMS connectivity.

The NowMMS.com service is advertiser supported, which means that in exchange for free MMS services, you agree to occasionally receive advertising messages from our sponsors. As advertising is some of the coolest MMS content currently being developed, we hope youll find this feature entertaining, instead of intrusive.

If you stop using the service, youll stop receiving any advertising messages."

BTW!.. this service it's working to me... i can send MMS using mms.now.co.uk/user=passwd.... like homepage of my MMS access point config.

and i can send me a MMS like +584127277578... i mean.. internacional number... .. if i only put the number without the international +58412 first.. i don't recieve it... so IT'S WORKING.

cya!

Posting through wap.))Have i mentioned that my english are very bad? What i meant was that it is a limitation by the providers and i agree with you aefox. Just forgot to put a comma and the whole post was missunderstood. Sorry...
