Dear all,
Finally I got my E90-1. It's latest E90-1 model with NR-14 in the small hole in battery room. :icon14:
One question may need your advise. I bought this sweet E90-1 in the US. Now I live in Asia. To display Chinese characters, I am thinking to change the product code to Singapore version and update the firmware accordingly. 😊
However, I was wondering, what if I did something wrong when I change the code? Will that lead E90-1 completely dead? If I failed, do I still have chance to get it back to original status?
If the answer is all no and I have to send it back to Nokia US for repair it, then I may consider not to do it....to risky to me....:con?
Any comments on my question? Many thanks!
Any risk on code change/firmware update

Maybe you don't have to do this.
You can use 'FontRouter LT'(a font driver) with a font according to your language.
My friend use this way to deal with the Chinese character display problem, it is doing well, but some bit blemish in web browser which isn't coded by Unicode.
After this you have another input method.
I upload 'FontRouter LT', you should sign it by yourself.
