Hi

Using SeleQ I pasted by mistake a file in the following dirctory
C:\Nokia\Games ... But now when I try to delete that file I get the
message: "System file is protected" and I can't delete that file.It is quite big file(400K) and it takes a lot of memory and it is in no use there, that's why i want to delete it.
Can someone please tell me, how can I delete files in the system
directories?

Thanks

cant u just backup your phone, Format it, and then delete the file while its in your C:\nokia\backup folder then restore your backup?

or am i stupid cus thats the way i do it lol

I think that you have to change the attributes of this file in order to delete it. It must be read only/system or sth like that. Seleq has this option to change attributes. I don't remember the way because i don't have seleq right now but it must be sth like file-properties then move the joystick to the left two or three times and you'll see the attributes page. After changing the attributes(removing the read only option and the system) u should be able to delete it.

PC-Filemanger from Epochware also has this option, right click the file and select properties, and you'll see the tickboxes you need to uncheck.

You can prob download the 30 day trial for this too....

Thou once you have used it once you will probably want to buy it, I did.

Best
