hello all
having a few probs with phone one being i cant seem to change the noise the phone makes when i recieve a txt message.
ive had a sony ericson 800i and in there u could choose to allocate a sound or song to both an incoming call and a txt (different for each). Now for the life of me i cant find this in the nokia and the only way i can do it is directly from the music player by selecting use as but it only give me use as contact or ringtone not a txt message surely this new bit of kit can do the above

You change the message tones in the Profiles section.
Go into the menu, Select Settings, then Personal then Profiles.
Click on the profile you want to change and choose Personalise.
You should then see an option for Message alert tone and selecting this should show a list of all compatible audio files on your PC from which you can pick the one you want to use (to preview a sound click once on it and wait a second).
Edit the current calling profile, through the settings menu. The option to change the SMS tone is in there
