Backup probs

i had that msg b4. Try backup again.

Ive tried 3-4 backups and get the error each time.

Should i get my firmware uprgraded ?

I get this message all the time

App. Closed. App Arc Server Th Read User 130

I press ok and the backup continues OK.

I think the backup needs to close programs running on the phone before it can backup?

I am not sure but the program being terminated on the phone is responsible for giving access to the contacts (and other not accessible otherwise files) to the pc suite. I usually get this error message on the phone after completing the backup process.

i have a problem with my messages after i restored a backup. i was trying to back up using the option to back up everything and it keeps giving me errors (on the PC side), so i backup up everything except for the first option on the list (the backup everything including data option), and then i restored the backup, and all my messages are gone from the Inbox, but the data is still there when viewing the Mail folder in SeleQ.

Any suggestions? should i just deleted the mail messages manually in SeleQ? i'm suspecting that the index file in the Mail folder tells the system what mail exists and the restore replaced it with the last backup i made, which was last year. after the restore, the full backup option worked again BTW...
