Well, there hasn't been a release of Opera Mobile for S60 since...I dunno, the dark ages? 😞

UIQ gets an updated Opera Mobile browser, but we get nothing. Oh well, there's always Fennec. 😊

I think these articles are great. Yes, OK, they cover things that the more advanced users would consider too obvious to even mention, but there's more to them than that.

I'd definitely consider myself to be a power user / geek or whatever term you care to use. I'm patiently waiting for the N97 to be released, but in the meantime have been reading the 5800 articles to get a feel for S60 5th edition, and have picked up some useful information from them (including a couple of snippets that apply to S60 3rd edition too).

I don't think any of us could claim to know every little quirk about every app on our phones, so it's always useful to see "How to" articles where the author may have picked up on something that (some of) the rest of us have missed.
