Does YouTube work properly on the web browser?

There's a lot of cheering in reviews about the fact that the 5800 has Flashlite 3 and hence Youtube is supported. But I'm finding that trying to watch any videos through the web browser is just not possible. Some videos just don't play (I can see the bar moving but no audio/video) and some videos start playing but they stutter and then a message comes up: Web: feature not supported

I have v20

???

i used the ink that was lready in my favorits when i got the phone

it go's to m.youtube.com with something in there about nokia as well

also under the video box i had to click beta player, using the beta option it works fine in page, and if u click the vid it goes to full screen

The old Youtube mobile site player uses very low quality non-flash video. It sounds like capitaine and granadas are seeing the old site.

The new Youtube mobile site player (which is currently in beta testing) uses higher quality flash video, which looks and sounds much better.

If you don't see the beta version by default, try selecting the beta link below the video you're watching. And as biggruss says, you can also click on the video and watch it in full screen if you want.

I'm thinking it's a firmware deal.. I just received a US NAM version with newest firmware (different than EU or other versions) and it works fine. You might try the mobile youtube site, they're now allowing users to stream the actual flash file instead of streaming it through realplayer. It's great quality.
