After much delay, the most anticipated third party N-Gage game Worms World Party is out now on the N-Gage platform. The centrepiece of WWP is of course its online multiplayer mode for up to four players, and it becomes the first third party game to offer such a mode on N-Gage. To download WWP, go to your phone's N-Gage application, go to the Showroom tab, select "Options" and then "Update Now", or alternatively you can find it in the "All Games" section. It's a shame the demo doesn't have a tutorial. I could imagine a lot of newbies trying the demo once and deciding not to buy because they don't understand what's going on.
It's a good game but the demo doesn't really do it justice.
Going back to the PC, part of the reason a game like Lemmings did so well was because the demo introduced all the controls one at a time, so even novice players got sucked into the gameplay.
I really think this game deserves a mega game award. Please don't let me down!
No need to worry...the game rocks! Very similar to the PC version of 2001/2002 which is heaps better than the version on XBLA. Hopefully this gets a good multiplayer following.
