Boot up spalsh screen

Hi,
My 5800 boots (and powers down) with an operator splash screen.
It didn't do this until I downloaded the latest v20 firmware. Anyway of removing/disabling this?

your phones product code tells nokia which firmware to download, if its a t-mobile code then you will get t-mobile firmware..so what you do is to change the phones code to a generic code , then update with newer generic firmware and your branding will be gone..

btw , your experience was the same as mine..

google 'jaf' and 'pkey emulater'.. its a bit fiddlely but worth it or theres a how to on another forum....
