Hello All,
I have N95 8GB from asian region where it's data frequecy apprently differnt than in north america so for that reason i can't get 3G connection here even thought my service provider provides that service that upset's me i know it 's hardware thing but just wondering is there any thing i can do like any softwares or any thing to change the data frequency to match it to North american region let me know please and thank you.
There is nothing you can do. If you need a model that supports North American 3G frequencies, buy a model intended for North America.
there is a provider in the US that supports the native N95-2 type frequencies and will work with 3G 1900/2100 UMTS. This is T-Mobile.

Since most networks there are based upon 850Mhz, you will only be able to get GSM+Edge there with other networks since the N95-2 supports GSM over 850.

Tmobile 3G needs 1700 and 2100 to work. There are no S60 phones that support that. I think there is only one Nokia phone that works on Tmobiles 3G network in America.
