When I try to check for firmware updates over the air, my 5800 tells me that I have to set up a new server profile? Where do I get the information necessary to do this?

Where did you get your phone from? That info should have been prefilled in for you! Try using Nokia Software Update instead.
I'm the same, on a T-mobile UK red. just gotta do it via the PC Suite.

This is apparently true of all the NAM 5800s. I have not found any source for the server setings. I haven't tried calling Nokia support yet, but I'm not optimistic. 🙄
