Ovi store is now officially launched globally.

store.ovi.com

I was able to download the OVI Store from a Nokia E75 on the Vodafone network in Sydney, Australia.

Just loaded it on my E71-2 NAM in the US while connected to WiFi. 😊 I've read about the 5800xm getting it in the US, but nothing on the E71 yet.

Go to ovi.store on your phone (web), choose the download Ovi Store Application (you need an Ovi Account), sign in and proceed to download the application, its over 3mb in size.

Download and install, boot your phone, then go to the Installation folder (the default folder where all downloaded applications goes to) on your phone - there is the Ovi Store Application, launch it, accept T&Cs, u up and running!!!😎

(Now, if only I can uninstall the old Download application)
