i was wondering whether there is a software out there that fullfills the following requirements:
i would like to filter a text message (sms) depending on the phone number.
Example: Whenever a sms arrives with a number xxxxx it should be stored in the best case in a secure folder or anything like that. so that other people could not read this message or they should not even notice that there has a message arrived!
Would be glad for any solution you can tell me (must not be exactly secure folder etc. because this is just something that came into my mind. Just tell me how you would solve my problem).

I can't answer a solution to this but would it even be possible to do such a thing?

I can't help you either but always wonder WHY users want this function when they ask so often?

(b) engaging in criminal activity
(c) ...???
(c) suspicious of your partner and want to see the messages he/she is getting from their new "friend"

This is exactly what i am looking for. but of course, freeware would be better. i think i will wait a few days, maybe someone else can tell me an free alternative? if not, i will buy this in the next few days. (too bad that there is no trial avail. for testing the functionality. ;(
am sure when you install it, there is a free trial period .. something like 3 days I believe

From what I read in the papers, the most common solution is to buy a cheap PAYG mobile handset, and keep it in the car, etc., so the wife/gf never knows it exists.
Am thinking of doing the cheap phone thing. Mate at work has one of those super slim sony ericson phones old now but only want it for when am out and get some numbers.
Dont want loads of random weird women having my number. Been there with my ex and it caused some problems.
With the older phone option you can just get rid of the sim card when you no longer need it.

Tell your mum not to touch your phone or open your snail mail! If she continues, move out.
I always use Private call&sms guard, good application, i like it

Private call&sms guard seems have the newest version, totally hidden version, it can hide the icon in the application menu
