I know its available in the UK, Sweden and Italy already. What other locations is it available? Anyone have any idea when it'll make an appearance in Asia, specifically Singapore? I was so hoping this Samsung Unpacked was going to be the launch but instead we got this crap Jet thing. By the way, is Samsung's warranty global or limited to whatever country it was originally sold?

I bought one here in Chicago on Sunday June 14, 2009 and am using it with an AT&T sim card. Works great!

Anyone know how to get it to do some the stuff in the demo video? The screen flipping through the menu in large panels etc...

I love it!

So does it work with the 3G on AT&T?

Yeah, I just found that demo video the other day and started wondering if they sent me a dud 😉 Talk about eye candy! Talk about a crock of $hi+. It would be extremely cool if we had everything they promise in the video, but I'm thinking that's their "vision" of what the phone should be, not what it is. Very misleading.

Still, the phone is an excellent device, beating the first Omnia by a mile and in terms of pure power and media trouncing the likes of the HTC HD (which remains the best business phone around in my book). Will probably be keeping my HTC HD and this one, but selling the rest.

Assuming you bought an imported set. Do you have international warranty coverage with that? Looking for which countries have an official launch.

Got bored with the Xperia X1 so when I saw the HD I had to try it. This is my first Symbian phone.

I am not sure about the warranty coverage and I hope not to find out because it would most likely be under undesirable circumstances.

About 3G, it seems to be working fine both Chicago and in Houston. Just yesterday I did a speed test twice and it came back 1070kbps the first time and 1790kbps the next...

I just can't figure out how to set up my MMS access point and the server info t do phone updates. Any help? I know, I know. I'll search later, I was just hoping there was a small chance one of you might know for some reason.
