Believe it or not, Million Dollar Poker is the third poker game on N-Gage, distinguishing itself this time round with true multiplayer action. Ewan seemed moderately impressed, but rightly berates Gameloft for making the trial version insanely short and for including truly lack lustre graphics throughout. Here's the Ovi Gaming review of Million Dollar Poker.

ROFLMAO. That seriously made me laugh out loud. However, it's rather true - the worst N-Gage games seem to be the ones that are simply ported over from other platforms, and therein lies the major issue that I have with N-Gage.
Most games, such as Worms World Party, Creatures of the Deep, Reset Generation, etc, are great - entertaining, challenging, etc. However, N-Gage is supposed to be pushing the online component as the distinguishing factor. Unfortunately, aside from Reset Generation, I have yet to be able to setup a multiplayer game on *any* of the supporting games, because there's simply no one there to play. I have 30 people on my 'friends' list, and none of them are ever online at the same time.
N-Gage needs to address this, quickly. Ideally, I'd like to see the ability to SMS my friends to get them to hop online for a game. This could be facilitated through the N-Gage servers - if you add your mobile number to your player profile, then your accepted friends are able to SMS you to see if you're up for a game.
Didn't come as any surprise at all.
Most of the Gameloft ports is really a waste of time to even try on N-gage.
As a fanboy the last purchase of N-gage game was Dance Fabulous, which wasn't the greatest game but it gave something new to the gaming experience.
The releases such as Prince of Persia, Spore and most of the other Gameloft games I haven't bought (Except Brothers In Arms) simply because graphics and gameplay are not up to par with what I consider a good game on N-gage.
Having kept my eyes since N-gage 2.0's initial release. (During the first releases).
I've watched and mostly tried all the games that have come out. And have 21 games I have bought up to now.
But to be honest I don't believe that N-gage will get any good games until later this year / beginning of next year.
Personally I think they aren't porting enough games.
Basically I finally managed to install quake 2 on my e71, obviously its not made for phones so not really fun to play yet still great in showing what the phones capable of.
If nokia would put a well known first person shooter that looks just the original on n-gage (with enough tweeks to make it easy to play on a phone) the world would go mad. People have no idea what symbian phones are capable of and apparently neither is nokia.
Whenever I see the quality of games running on an iphone, the only thing that comes to my mind is 'Damn, Nokia you're Stupid'. I would never buy an Apple product but I'd love to have games of 'that' quality running on my phone. If only Nokia could get their heads out of their backside and start thinking straight, its high time they created some strict quality guidelines for game titles that are published on n-gage.
