Nokia N97, product code 0585162 just updated no problem just the theme reverted back to standard and had to select mass memory to see my messages other than that all went sweet.😊
Yay! I just noticed it on mine too! It shows up on NSU but not OTA (although OTA took longer to check for the update than usual, before telling me there wasn't one).
However, just as a precaution, I'm backing up my phone and contents in every way imaginable before I upgrade.
As I said earlier, I was gonna back up the phone by any means before I upgrade to v11. I'm just about to do it now, because Nokia Content Copier has finally finished copying the phone data to my computer...

I didn't think it would include Mass Memory... but it blooming well did!!
It should give you tick boxes so you can choose what you want to backup before you do it - mass memory is one of them so you can just untick it for next time :icon14:
Oh fantastic. Im so glad Im with Be. Even when I was on the old PlusNet Premier product, the downloads would take half and hour or more.
Im on BeThere at the moment, update downloaded in about a minute, update installed and phone back up and running in under five minutes!

I don't understand why there is no update for UK N97 WHITE???!

Why would Nokia not release an update for the UK white version at the same time as they did for the UK black version?

Has it fixed all the bugs?
The main ones which I suffer from are:
- Slider/lock occassionally not activating phone properly, ie need to slide it a couple of times to unlock phone.
- Issues with Facebook widget. Occasionally get "script error" messages and have to log out and log in again for it to update
Just wondering if the patch resolves these issues at all

I found the update (as have others) using the Nokia Software Updater on Nokia Suite, yes my phone is Black, and the update has made the phone more responsive. Can't comment on Facebook, never used it, and to be honest I wasn't having any great issues with the phone at V10.
There is a post from a Finnish guy earlier suggesting he couldn't get a white N97 updated - has anyone?

I'm trying to check via the OTA updater on my N97 if new firmware is available for my phone but it keeps prompting me to enter a username and password. Where would i find this info?!
I haven't noticed many errors with my phone apart from the keylock problem, occasionally some java errors and when i close the messaging application without letting it disconnect from a mailbox properly it doesn't show the menu tabs when i open messaging again.
Is it likely these errors will be resolved in the new firmware?
btw i'm running v10.0.012 on Black N97 😊
