Repeated Events/Appointments - Any answer yet???

No joy as of yet - I have just picked up the java SDK and will install and look at it when i have some free time but other projects (i.e. the ones i get paid for) are taking up too much of my time at the mo. If you get a solution then put up a post

I have the exact same problem... Pretty annoying, since I have most of the birthdays of my friends in Outlook... Would be great to get these synced to my P800...

Well, I also had sync probs. ONLY for calendar entries tho. After looking thro the various forum entires here I tried out a few things, and it now works ! However dunno which of the things I did was the actual solutuion !

I created a new PST file in Outlook.
I changed my calendar entries in my P800 so that there were NO reoccuring entires.
I did a full sync to the new PST file.

The new PST file now contains all my P800 calendar entries ! yay ! then i changed back the entries such as birthdays to reoccur. then did another sync (NOT full) and both P800 and outlook are synced correctly.

I can now create new re-occuring entries in either p800 or outlook and they sync up perfectly.

Now. the only problem is that if I delete an entry in outlook ( which was originally created on my P800 ) it doesnt delete from the P800 when i do a sync ! However reverse wise it works. I assume it works due to the sync settings - ie "When item is deleted in phone, also delete item in computer for Select Calendar to delete the calendar item in the computer"

But how to make it work in reverse ?????
