Look, even in Germany (you know, it's a German car) the _base_ price is 45.850 EUR. Just checked on bmw.de, here is the link to the latest pricelist:

You can't grab it under 60k if you want nice wheels, navigation, leather comfort seats, sunroof etc. If you want M Packet and the other fancy stuff, then the limit is the sky. I guess something is missing from those UK prices.
