I got an E52 today, and so far it seems very good.
I more than happy with the device in every way, apart from one.
On probably about 50% of the calls so far, the person at the other end says they can hear an echo of their own voice. All sounds fine from my end.
After a few tests, it only seems to be happening when the phone is on 2G rather than 3G. Although, it doesn't happen in every call.
Anyone else having the same problem, or have I just got a duff handset?
To check if it is a network or device issue , end the call and call again .

It was a device problem, and found a few other people complaining of the same thing on the web.....
I couldn't put up with it any longer, so took the E52 back to the shop, and changed it for an N86.
Hey-ho, I've got the podcasting back now at least....:icon14:
I've had a complaint about echo's with my E55, but just when I've been using the speaker phone.
I have had a general problem with signal strength in both 2G and 3G. I have got in a few pre-pay SIMs from other networks to try out to test if it's a network thing or the handset. Now, if only I could get some time to actually do the tests!
