How much is the N97 worth?

Just got back from Hong Kong and got myself an unlocked iphone (flame suit on ready)...

Anyway, I am now looking to sell the N97 but am not sure what it is worth.
Any ideas as to what I can realistically expect to fetch for it.
I've seen a few n97 minis go for as low as 250, was hoping to get at 275.

Tempted to say 3.50 - but I'll resist the temptation.

CEX are offering 236 for a grade A unlocked (253 for the white), 209 for a B grade and (if it's met with a wall at high speed recently) 175 for a C grade.

Locked N97's are quite a bit cheaper (i.e. a grade A {black} on 3 is 219).

yeah I was gonna suggest tuppence ha'penny, but reckon that optimistic. Even in old money.

Like Snuge's idea though, paying someone to take it off yer 'ands.

Mazuma are offering 225 for a decent condition N97. Think I may get rid of mine down this route, as it saves all the hassle + extortionate charges of ebay.🙄

Bought mine couple of weeks after release direct from Nokia store at full whack!
Wow, looks like I'll be losing +50% on the handset in less than 5 months!!!

So londoner, how do you find the iPhone after your dabble with the N97?

Much better / worse / swings and roundabouts? Would be interested in a blow by blow comparison?

Overall I think it is a better phone, it certainly runs alot smoother than my N97 did. Safari definetly seems alot quicker loading pages and scrolling/zooming is a lot smoother overall making for a better internet experience.

I think the thing that makes the iphone for me is definetly the App store, there is WHOLE load more apps for it, alot of which are very useful unlike the crap you get from OVI.
I like how alot of the third-party apps are purposely made the iphone rather than just a shortcut taking you to the website, for example, the wikipedia app,
Natwest App, Orange Wednesday, Sky Sports result center I've found very very useful!
The facebook app is tons better than the one on the N97 and there's never issues with login.

My main gripe with the iphone is it's battery life, it seems a little worse than the n97.
Other minor issues is how you can't send pictures through bluetooth, but downloading bump kind of solves the problem for iphone2iphone.
Also, Apple have made it hard to use music not bought from itunes as ringtones, though I have found a relatively easy way of getting round this.

I do really miss the keyboard on the N97, and texting does take alot of getting used to on the iphone, especially if you have large fingers.
But saying that, at least the iphone does have an onscreen qwerty keypad, the N97 onscreen pad is very poor imo (but that's probably to get you to use the keyboard I suppose).

I wasn't sure about the iphone at the time, but with the apps I've installed on the phone, I probably can't be without it now.
Still have a lot to learn with it though.
