3650 and speaker

Mine are already open (I mean there are 3 holes at the back) when I first have my phone.

Official released 3650s do not have 3 holes in the back of the phone.
Only prototypes have these. This is to help give a more even spread of
sound(rather than it all coming out of the back). There should be no need
to poke holes in your phone !

arg... i got mine today
its perfectly fine as it is and i don't see that those 3 TINY hole will make all that much of a difference to sound quality.

there is no way im going to poke holes in my 3650 (thats just cruel ).
plus think of all the dust and crap that will get in.

I agree, i can hear my phone just fine without holes poked in the back. Besides, i have a really good LOUD ringtone. The Godfather theme... 😃

My phone has three triangles on the back on the top left above the camera lens (but to the right bottom of the Nokia logo). They are decreasing in size with the largest one on the left, the smallest on the right. They are indentations. Not holes. Are you saying you poked holes all the way through these indentations? Are you also saying this improved the sound? Is someone else saying that my phone is an old prototype because it has these indentatations? I am now more confused than I usually am :roll:

if i ever poke 3 holes into the main cover of my phone and let some crap in and have it repaired for 30kd (90 US) (60 pounds) in q8 no way i would sacriffice some sound for the safety of my phone

Well I took out my trusty H&K 9mm and pocked 3 holes right above the lense. Sounded great (as that pistol always does). However there is no sound coming out of the phone now. Please help.

So,i think the only way is to take SUPER glue.

u probably damaged ur phone thts why its happening also, in my opinion i tihnk it was a bad move for all u ppl tht actauly put DAMN HOLE! in ur phone which has been designed by PROFESSIONALS who obviosly know what there doing most of the time, dont get me wrong thy make a lota mistakes but there musta been a reason why they covered up the holes from the prototype and released the final versions with only light indents in them, alot damage can be done to tiny speakers like tht being left open exposed THRU hole lol lol

I think the holes were probably for the Coffee Machine GhostDog was hoping would be added to the 3650 (see the FM Radio thread in this Forum). 😃

you should NOT have 3 holes in the back near the lens just 3 indetations , if you do have 3 holes then it is a very early version
