Fring on N97!

Hi,

Sorry no idea why this has just started to happen all of a sudden, any recent new applications you may have installed?

The problems I have with fring are when trying to make a video call, this doesn't work, then fring just crashes and exits.

Not terribly helpful but I've been getting on better with Nimbuzz - they seem virtually identical but as don't use video call can't testify to that (or even if it has it). I did fin Fring a little more intrusive (difficult to stop it autoloading up and seeking connection) Nimbuzz seems a bit more user controllable and when N97 runs sgort of RAM as it inevitably will say when playing system resource sucking game such as tic tac toe it seems ti shut down more unobtrusively than Fring. However I don't think it's connections cinfigurer is as good - seems tough to get it to look for wifi automatically althogh it has setting to do so and I don't think it's Twitter feature is as good as Fring's'

Try it maybe and may be a work around?

Thanks Ya that's what i did i uninstalled fring and have installed nimbuzz let's see how it goes but if it works that i am definatley gona miss video calling feature 😞

After talking to help desk which not very helpfull i have been told that to send the phone in for repair again under warranty 😡 now the problem i have is that i am in canada and since i bought the phone from US Nokia canada won't honour the warranty for that phone so evey time i need to ship back to them they won't ship it back to me since i am in canada so they need a local address.

Unfortubnatley I have to disturb my friend in us and ask him to ship it back to me so that process has cost me $100 already for shiping back and forth so can any one please help me here to look in to this f....g phone or how to at least do what it suppose to do make and receive calls 😡
