Looks good. Encouraging to see Nokia making a strong, and customised, play into China, the world's largest mobile market. It's a FAR more important market than the US for example - worth remembering.

[Hoping the whingers will not comment on this story like they did on the announcment of the C-Series the other day]

Why dont they launched x5 in India, world fastest growing mobile phone market??

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see additional variants of this handset come out in due course. X5-01, X5-02 etc etc.

Why is that lookin like a copy of the curve design from the side, sported by the sonyericsson Hazel n Elm????? WOW! nokia design team.

It is hilarious to see messages of various posters decrying Nokia's mimicry of other brands in terms of design. Hello, design rubs off! it happens in every field, it is nothing new or unique. That said, there is hardly a need for NOKIA to copy SONY ERICSSON design, which, with due apologies, is floundering these days under the weight of its own arrogance.

Also, just take a look at the Hazel and Elm - why would anyone want their SMARTPHONES with TEN TIMES THE FEATURES to resemble feature phones from another manufacturer?

Give it a rest S-E fans and enjoy the view - your time will come.

This isn't the first Nokia phone to sport a curve back design.

I see a very very slight curve, but nothing like the Elm. Besides the 6720 Classic had a curved design, and nobody accused S-E of stealing from Nokia...

not to mention this was dwsigned at the same time as those SEs... i.e. when they were not even finalized or announced yet... sometimes thinking helps!

People who hates Symbian/Nokia, but likes to hang around waiting for posts about them to troll don't tend to think a lot.
