Hi all,

Is it possible to remap keys on the 8210?
I've just bought a German 9210 which has a QWERTZ keyboard layout. I'm from the UK and I have the full housing including a QWERTY keyboard which i'dlike to transfer to my communicator. The only way i've found to do it so far is via 'remapper' but that runs as an app, i'd prefer a TSR style program or a permanent change to the o/s or registry if possible?

Is it alsopossible to rename applications like 'desk' which shows up on my screen as 'Arbeitsplatz'?

Looks like you'll have to get a firmware upgrade to the english firmware

I thought a firmware upgrade wasn't possible unless it was in the country of purchase? I was told that this is to protect against cheap imports.

Can you advise anyone who can do it? I'm running v03.54 and would like an upgrade anyway.
