The default Access point oplayer added will not connect it says
GPRS: GPRS not avaliable. Check network services.
I have modified it as on the oplayo website but it still dosn't work. Could someone please please please explain how to set up oplayer

Cheers

HI!..

Just try using your default IAP (Internet Access Point) GPRS not the Access Point created with Oplayo... i deleted that Access Point .. that one it's just to use your PC BT to access, if you don't hace any created for that.

What are the settings for the default access point I thought you had to get a connection to the internet not wap, I have spoke to Orange and they said I counldn't connect to the internet I mentioned the orangeinternet connection and the said the didn't no it??? Please help

I think I answered my own question, I have managed to connect but when I try to update the playlist or play the welcome clip from the main screen it says 'File Not Found' What is it I am missing :-? All help very much appreciated 😉

Try going to 'options' then 'oplayer online' that should then give you a new playlist to view 😊

Or tell me your mobile number and I will SMS one over to you.

Best

Will

I tried what you said and I still get the File Not Found message 😞 do I have to have any settings in open URL at the moment it just has http:\\ have you got an email address don't really want to put my number here
Cheers.

but does the BT pc connection work for Oplayo??? cos' i tried it and it never connects, it just says GPRS not found.

Usually there's 3 things to cover:

1) Make sure you've got GPRS or High Speed Data subscribed from your operator

2) Make sure you've got a working access point

3) Find a working playlist.

---

For (1) you have to know it yourself, ask your operator or just try and see if you have it.

For (2) this link should help: http://www.oplayo.com/support/faqmobile.htm#02

if not, you can always mail Oplayo tech support.

For (3) you can try any of the playlists that are posted here in these forums. First try and see if you can find it with PC web browser, eg. IE. Then try to access it with "Open location" in Oplayer. Some playlists addresses are cAsE-SeNsItIvE , so try to type the URL exactly as written.
