man this thread has really helped me out 😊
I wonder if anyone can help me with a coupla other `issues' i have?
1) My bt connection in my `network places' shows a red cross and tells me a `network cable is unplugged'. I can still send and receive from both my p800 and pc tho (pc to p800 only via the drag n drop method suggested above). is there anyway i can get this connection enabled?
2) when i go into my bt places and click on `p800 bt serail port' (under the `serial port links' category) it says connecting and then replies `the bt serial port connection failed: the remote device closed the connection'. Is this just a P800 issue generally (as suggested above)?
3) and most seriously, my pc has developed a nasty habit of freezing when i do anything bt related! it's ok sometimes, but othertimes it freezes and i can do nothing but switch it off at the back. any ideas on why this might be happening?

cheers guys!

ok, update. i've done something and now i can't send pics from my P800 to my PC, i get a `failed to transfer entry to PC'. i'm totally confued

try reading this thread again.. there are many useful tips!

I guess it's related to some settings in Advanced Configuration, try changing some of the Local services to Startup Automatically, that would sort it out ... (I guess🙄 )
