It's for a Nokia Multimedia Converter. To convert Audio files to AMR and Video Files to 3GP. Has anybody used it.

I can't it requires Win 2000 or XP and a 64k graphics resolution

Any feedback would be appreciated.

my advice is to wait it gets out of the Beta stage... the software doesn't work at all in any of my comps... It's impossible to load files, unless using "open with", but then it's impossible to save the output files as well... not worth the effort... 😞

For me it works! I am using Windows XP Pro SP1. I've tried AVI (DivX) and MPEG files as input.
The only bug I've found is, if you set the "Max file size" option to a too low value, you'll get a message "Converted file must be trunctated". But instead of trunctating the video the software produces a "video" without picture (only sound)...

The same goes for me (Windows XP Pro + SP1). But sometimes the program "performs an illegal operation and has to be terminated".

Anyway it is very good(if you can make it work, like every other nokia program)

With Windows 98 it doesn't work. I installed it and make the same like Tatuagem, open the files with the option "Open with", but the program didn't respond to the buttons, and didn't convert any video. It seems that the program it's olny made for XP and Windows 2000 (for me, an error, because a lot of people still have the W98 or Millenium...). I hope that when the final version comes out, it will work with 98 and Me.

You can actually drag and drop files to be converted into the MMC program once opened, but once files are in program it doesn't work.

This seems to be the right topic for whoever catches a later release of nMMC, (perhaps the final release?), alert the rest of the crew interested in converting those pesty .3gp files to a decent format 😉

Thanks.... 😊

Great app!! I've tried it and It's cool. I converted the Ellen Feis advert from Apple (3.41MB .mov file) to a .3gp 280Kb big with a great quality sound (MONO though). I want to see what the final release is capable of...

NOKIA r0x0rs! 😃

Yeah it's expired, anyone know why?? I'd really like this program, so if anyone could email it to [email protected] i'd be very grateful! Or someone could host it or somethin, i dunno. Thanks!

Works sweet as a nut here also on XP Pro...

Having said that, the installed complained like a bitch while trying to shoehorn the software onto my 'puter without the knowledge that I needed the Java Runtime installed first :?

Can't say I'm overly impressed with the AMR format, other than the resultant file it is way smaller than WAV's 😃

hey everyone, i'm getting it at the nokia forum! here's the link:
