This thread included a poll: Stacker or Space Doubler?

Hello i would like to buy one of the two compression tools for my nokia 7650. Would you like telling me which is the best? (when i say best i mean compression methods, less memory used, faster compression algorithm) Thanks.

HI!

I create this same Poll question long tinme ago..

i remember that finish with about the same votes for both apps..

both apps are good...

cya! 😃

This is not only a poll i would like to know the advantages and disadvantages in both programs.

They are quite the same. Why don't you try the trials and see for your self. They use the same compression method.

If they use the same compression method then i would prefer stacker. Thanks MemphisX.

At the risk of repeating earlier threads, Sdoubler is smaller (a LOT more, especially if you already have other PsiNT apps installed on your phone) sDoubler is more configurable in terms of compression ratios and you can also compress java apps... - as MemphisX said, try both for a couple of days and see which you like best.

I prefer sDoubler, but like the way Stacker shows the decompression progress...
Ok i will try both for a period. Thanks..
How do the prices compare these days?

i use stacker~ pretty good program. i like the way it works in the background and puts the recompressing icon in top right and so on..

works well and also won an award..

but i think both programs are about the same.

Voted for Stacker and will always use Stacker

Stacker compresses better than SDoubler
Stacker never conflict with other 3rd apps installed on my phone
Stacker compression rate is better

IMHO, Stacker is better
