R u satisfied with your network's customer service?

I'd like to know if u r satisfied with your network's customer service.I was provided with many misleading and inaccurate information and if u can't trust your own network's customer service who can u?I don't know if i should post this on community wafle but since i've seen posts about gprs costs here, then it must be ok.

The problem with customer service is that sometimes you get an intelligent person answer your call and sometimes, you get a dumbass.

As for misleading information, Hmmmmmm, I'm using IP Viewer on my 7650 and it says that my GORS connection is 9600 baud. I thought GPRS was supposed to be quicker than that?

Anyway, the best company in the UK that I've come across for customer service is Vodafone (though they almost lost that accolade when they screwed me sideways not long ago).. Orange haven't proved too bad for me, in fact, when I ended my contract with them, they were very helpful (kinda made me think that they wanted to get rid of me).

Anyway, I've had my say so I'll just pop back under my rock 😉

I agree

It depends on who is helping you. In general my SP (Vodacom) is not too bad, but you can never trust everything they say.

Well I am really happy with GR Vodafone's Services (Panafon-Vodafone Greece). But their prices sucks. Well you get what you pay, I hope.

I have a different strategy, since as TANKERx said, you don't get the same person 2 times in these call centres, and quality varies wildly. I'm on Movistar (Spanish Telefonica), haven't used their customer service in over 12 months. Since there's only 3 operators in Spain, I find that the Nokia helpline a) knows about their products and b) knows enough about the 3 networks to solve any issues I have. It's another call centre I know, but I guess it's a smaller, more stable team.

In South Africa the Nokia Helpline is useless. They still believe that video, BT to PC, Infra red remote are impossible on 7650

I've got a good example of customer service screw-ups. Today i bought the nokia HDW-2 bluetooth headset from the orange shop after the sales assistant told me it was compatible with my 7650. After hours of trying 2 get it 2 work i contacted orange u.k customer services who told me they couldn't help because it wasn't one of their products (eventhough they sold it 2 me!!) finally in this forum i found out from some1 who knows what they're talking about (cheers DOC!) that audio bt is not compatible with the 7650!

I've Telefonica Movistar and I have no complain about the service except for the prices. Here in Spain it's not possible to navigate though GPRS because every Kb is about 0.021 EUR. Amena, and Vodafone have similar prices, so no reason to switch. In time prices will low services will improve, I hope but for that there has to be much more users paying for those services.

O2 is pretty damn good, i mean u can get pretty good package deals on contract, and they STILL haven't charged me for GPRS at ALL. According to the Log, i have downloaded over 5 Meg, and yet when i spoke to O2 about this not showing up on my bill, they told me they had extended the GPRS 'Courtesy' Usage by a whole month to hi-grade Tariffs. Oh, n when i get to my 12 month end-of-contract i can change to this cool tarrif where for 30 i get like 200 cross-net mins @ any time, 200 wap minutes, 500 txts and 25 pic messages!

O2 RULES

I hate the fact Vodafone(UK) charges you 0.25 to talk to an adviser. (Although if you get through and the computer are down which is about 50% of the time, they will refund on the next call you make)

Vodafone in Auz is damn good if its not peak time where the music played is horrible and sounds distorted. i thought my phone was broken.

telstra is good and fast IF the voice recognition works. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. damn annoying.

MobileOne is the best!!! Did i told you that? MobileOne is the BEST!!!!

I am with them since their begining.. about 5-6 years already. A die-hard fan am i!

I am a big Orange UK fan, they have always been very helpful on the phone, they dont argue, they had some of the best service contracts and technology around ( dont think much of there new "Your Plan" malarky). Wildfire is a very good service, if slightly annyoing to first time users, (if you dont know wildfire, she is a voice activated PA on your phone, she takes calls for you from people, and greats them with their name, but people dont seem to listen to her 😞 )

anyway thats my 2p

I'm with Orange UK too and agree with eckrall. Had problems setting up MMS GPRS Email etc on my 7650 when i was new to all this, but they were very helpful.
Without sounding too much like an Orange marketing representative 😊 , calls to 450 (customer services) and 452 (recorded guide) are free from your orange phone, which is good consiering the above fact that Voda charges 25p! I rarely have problems with Orange and don't think i will have many in the future.

Speaking about charges, Orange UK are the only UK carrier that allows 0800 numbers to be called for free, vodaphone charges for the call at standard rates....

On that subject, Vodafone(gr) provides a free of charge helpline only for it's billpay customers .But that's the only advantage, since you can never be certain that what their employees tell you is absolutely true.
