there was a website that specialized in animated wallpaper themes for windows, but the site had long closed down due to the changes in windows and lack of interest.
the fact of the mater is, microsoft expect you to be interested in the other "exciting" features of xp, thus have made it almost impossible to do such novelties again.
good news (partialy) 😊 :
you could always set an animated gif as wallpaper, but unless you have a powerful computer, expect some slow-downs in performance.

from win98 you can just use Html files as backgrounds instead of jpg or bmp.
I had one with an entire javascript startmenu and stuff in it.
So make a htm with a javascript animation or gif animation or flash animation ... everything that works in html, even a windowsmediaplayer movie
Just tried it again with an old script of mine
Use this html file instead of a jpg and you'll get a matrix wanabee thing.

This thread was very very old (the last post was two years ago). When it was created, All About Symbian's forum was on phpBB.
There was a move from phpBB to vBuletin. No attachments were moved though.
So in general most old threads will not have any attachments even if they had some years ago...
