some ***hole stole it.
i had lock on at the time, i had phone protection lock on, and i had pin code lock on.
what should i do now?
i don't want to IMEI block it in case it gets handed in somewhere. but otherwise.. what do u guys recommend?
(ps. don't tell me i'm ****ed. i figured that myself thanks).
if you have all those locks the person that stole should leave it somewhere... but how will anyone know its yours? did you write your home number and adress in the phone?
i would use the imei lock cause if they get around your locks, they get a 3650 for free!!
I didnt set any locks on my 3650.If in 3650 were identifier of a finger, that will be cool.

that would be cool,I remember reading about one 3G phone which would have that 😃
Ya,PDA HP Ipaq H5450 has that function.
I suggest you have the phone locked(IMEI) coz I doubt that the phone will ever be returned to you... Some steal it to use it or if not, sell it to other people.

i know 😞
oh well i'm switching to an NEC e606 (3G) now.. hope it is good.
In Portugal you activate a service to locate other people. Try asking to your operator or police if they can trace your phone!
Now, you're not a 3650 user anymore... hehehe! Anyway, good luck on your new phone! Hope it can replace your 3650!
If someone will rob my 3650,i will immideatly call my network provider, and they will lock my sim card and phone too.
Sorry to hear you ain't got the 3650 anymore seremify *sob*
To the rest.. Here a neat proggy.. PhoneSecure..
If stolen.. One SMS and Viola.. No more use of the phone and (damn loud and annoying) a sirene starts and the display says -> This phone is now locked. Hand it back please.. Well at least that is what I wrote in mine 😃

Thanks for the info! 😊 really helpful!
Psiloc has a free version of phone sercure.
thanks guys.
if only i had that security program.. would've bein ideal to emit the high pitched beep. coincidentally i suggested that idea to domi (gosymbian) recently.. not because i knew of that program but because i thought it would've saved my phone.
anyway i probably won't be a series60 user anymore. i'm gonna wait a bit (financial lacking) and possibly get the i500 or d700. more likely the i500 as i've wanted a palm for a while, and the idea of a stylus-driven phone appeals to me more than having to use manual keypad entry again, but then if i500 is too pricey i'll just get d700.
but i got a q for u guyz, do u reckon' the d700 will be able to use my 3650 fone book which i backed up? i mean i backed it up but i have no other 3650s!! or do u kno of a way to view it?
laterz
jeff.
im not so familiar with d700 that you're talking about, however, if you backed up your files, there's no way that you can view it unless you restore it back to N3650 or to other compatible phones or devices. ( i haven't tried it with other device except for N3650).
samsung sgh-d700 i think. its nearly identical to 3650 'cept its got symbian series 60 6.1 and has zoom ont he camera.
everything else 'cept for lack of bluetooth is identical.
Hmm maybe u can consider getting a second hand NK3650? should be cheaper compared to a new one?
go to the dial screen and type this > *#06#
you will see your phones unique id or serial number. each phone has its own number.it is 15 digit.write it down somewhere safe.if you lose your handphone sent this number to your network provider or to nokia to disable the phone.
hmmm aybe u didnt understand his 3650 is LOSTTTTTTTTT
Idiot!! If his 3650 wasn't lost it wouldnt have to lock it, but normal people went phones are stoled they go to the network and block it  , if the phone is unlocked for any networks, what is probrably the situation, so i think it can not be blocked...
So he know that the phone is lost(normal to people who dont care with owns things), but the imei can be viewed in the box were the phone was bought!!!
sorry ppl . i did get his rpoblem > lost his phone . i just wanna tell u all wat u ppl can do b4 your phone gets stolen.
I use Phone Secure prog,(wildpalm),but it doesnt WORK  ,one of the features of the prog is that,if someone will replace the original SIM card the phone will began to alarm, and it will lock himself,i replaced the sim but no result....P.S i also turned on the alarm for all situations..WHAT TO DO

After you switch the sim, you must send the activating SMS to the phone.. then it starts displaying/alarming.. Cheers

I think i will put a little explosive charge in my phone. If the correct PIN is not input with 45 seconds of request... well someone will lose a hand. Boy I better never try to turn my phone one when I'm drunk.... hehe
thanks Raygun,Kirill, i'm never go drunk,i'm to youth..AND i dont like alcohol drinks.I only like BRIGHT ITALIAN VINE,and CHAMPAGNE like MONDORO.
