Initial Impression was : got to have one!

I can confirm it has T9 (no problem with Symbian 7)
The screen is much clearer - and looks much nicer with the extra colours.
Fits in the hand really nicely - It's a tiny bit smaller than the 7650, but the rounded corners make a huge difference!

Wanted to take a picture of it next to the 7650 to give a comparison, but needed to use the 7650 to take the picture!
Nice! I think the 6600 will be my next phone.
I know this will be one of my next phone, after the 3300 and N-GAGE 😃

greetzzz

Yes, 6600 is totaly super phone. But i hope, that will have more than 3.2 MB of RAM this is totaly terrible at 3650

Nah, i'm really waiting for SonyEricsson P810 and Siemens SX2. Don't want another crappy VGA-camera on my phone.

Saw it at a Nokia Developer Workshop in London yesterday. They were kind of setting the scene for Series 60 Platform 2 (which the 6600 uses), telling us which parts of our apps they'd broken 😊

Yes but integral memory is not RAM memory.

n6600 has 6MB internal disk space
n3650 has 4MB internal disk space
n3650 has 3.2 of RAM memory

but how many RAM hase 6600 ?
N6600 has 6mb of integral memory.
i;m wonderin' bout the RAM too not the disk space 😉

They had a slide within the presentation on Wednesday which detailed all the different specs (RAM, disk space et.) for the Series 60 phones. Most were blank for the 6600, and when someone queried this, we were told that the final specs weren't 100% locked down and there was still room for changes, so they weren't telling us.
This is definately going to be my next phone!!!
holy cow.... its pink ! lol.........

well i would love to get the 6600... but then 0.3megapixel cmos camera just dont perform as good anymore.. i want a phone with 1.3megapixel ccd lense

Well it isnt that easy to fit a 1.3 megapixel camera on to a phone is it??? and I dont think it will be cheap if they make one.

There is no SE P810, and there's no guarantee that such a thing will ever appear. This is just a big rumour.

No, SE has NOT confirmed these rumours.

And will you please stop posting about things you know nothing about!? This is the second time I've caught you posting untrue information.
I would just like to say that I'm still not buying into this whole "P810" thing. I have yet to see any reliable source for these "news". This whole thing started with the article printed on the Swedish site Mobil.se and has escalated beyond belief, even having more "respectable" media copying the article.

Mobil.se has everyone believing it since they are referring to an interview with one of the "top dogs" within Ericsson allegedly printed in one of the biggest news papers in Sweden(Svd), but a quick search through Svd.se brings up N O T H I N G concerning this.

The only article that Mobil.se could be referring to is dated back almost 4 MONTHS, and it doesn't mention anything about a 1.3Mp cam etc.. Besides, Mobil.se actually claims that the interview with Carl-Henrik Svanberg was written in Svd the same day they wrote about this P810 "news". The only article mentioning a P810 is the one dated back to the 3'rd of March, and Carl-Henrik Svanberg isn't even in it.

And after Mobil.se's (a site well known for it's aversion to check out the reliability of their sources) publication, the rumours has spreaded like a plague with more and more people claiming to have some inside information, even bad quality pictures supposedly portraying a P810(it could just as well be an old unknown prototype or some kind of kids toy).

And untill(IF) this will be confirmed with some real proof by what/who I would consider to be a trustworthy site/person, I will only take it for what it is; A RUMOUR.

I'm not saying that it isn't possible that SE will release a successor to the P800(I'm counting on it), but I find it highly unlikely that such a thing will appear within this year.

but what about link, that darla gave
Just plain old bad journalism IMO. Mobile burn has just copied the article that's been circling around the web for some time now(without even checking the sources), the one that was first printed on Mobil.se.

I think there might be a new sony ericsson phone on the way but its not going to be a sucessor to the P800.

Could be wrong of course. Nothing is sure until its confirmed after all.
