Hi.
I'm trying to buy the Rage Golf game but I can not find how/where to do it.

Any suggestion?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

😃 Rage Software plc is the developer and publisher of GadgetGolf...
you can download/purchase GADGET GOLF at their website:

http://www.rage.com

p/s: If i'm not mistaken you can also get it from Club Nokia...

Hi again,

No way. I followed the rage link and it leads you to the software market Nokia page, where it is not possible to find the game.

I tried directly from Nokia Club with same results... 😞

What could be next?

Thanks again.

Try http://www.nokia.com/games

U'll get some info there...
anyway u have to join clubnokia to get access... to purchase if i'm not mistaken..

I guess they havent release it yet at Nokia Software Market... it should be soon...

Hi!

Follow this link:
http://www.mobile2day.de/platform_psion/software/software.html?x1=905&x2=1056&se_ref_id=6716&catname=Spiele&subcatname=Sport&searchkey=1

The page is in German, but luckily "Download" is international. 😃
It is the demo and you can only play the 1st hole. If you'd like to have the full game, you have to go the Nokia Softwaremarket and pay a heavy 35 . 😞

HTH,

Tilman

Hello again,

I just checked the Nokia Softwaremarket and the game seemed to have disappeared. The same happened to Virtually Board Snowboarding. 😞
But they are now available from Club Nokia for 125 points or 25 instead.

Regards,

Tilman

Is it jus me, or while all these Golf games look good, none of them play as well as the first GOLF game that came out on the Gameboy?

You got it right!!! coz i swear to god i've seen it there before!!! I really wonder why???

So it could be said that it is not possible to get it!
I tried also from Club Nokia with same results.

I really wonder why.

All links I follow get me to the demo-version. "Almost" boring of it.

Thanks.

Hello!

Why couldn't you get it from Club Nokia? From Club Nokia in Finland you can get it once you register your 9210. You can download the game and then you have to purchase the "key" for it. You can either pay with Nokia points (125) or credit card (25 ).

Regards,

Tilman

Ok.
I'm happy I could download it from Finland, but there is a small problem. I don't understand the language and I couldn't find the page in English. What a problem man!

I hope I finally can do it!
How do they want to earn money if it is so complicated to buy something so easy as a game? Sorry for this little piece of thought.

Cheers.

Hello!

I guess that is Nokia! Making simple things so complicated and expensive 😊
I could have downloaded the game for you as well, but then I was not sure how you would get the key to unlock it.

Regards,

Tilman

anyway... regarding the game... i hope they are developing more golf courses as add-ons... it's pretty boring after a while playing the same course... trust me...

One reason, why I bought the snowboarding game rather than golf. Snowboarding is definitely worth the money, with golf I have my doubts, unless there are more courses. This might change my mind, because I love to play the demo, but one hole only... :-?

Personally i think the golf game was better than snowboarding... you will have all the 18 holes... maps... different camera view... it's perfect... but only 1 golf course... more courses in future i hope...

But there wasn't anything on Rage's website or did I miss something?
At least the prices are down now from 35 -> 25 or the same in $

I am having the WORST time trying to buy gadget golf and snowboarding in the USA!!!
ClubNokia is not available in USA.
Rage does not publish the game, only Nokia.

This is NokiaUSA's "official" response...

Thank you for contacting Nokia Software Market by Digital River.

These games are not available at the moment. They will be back but at
the moment we have no further information.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please "reply" to this
e-mail.

Sincerely,

Does anyone have any other information on their decision to remove it or their intention to offer it in the USA?

Hmmm... why they remove it??? my guess.. one of it would be the price...
It's too high!!! As for Gadget Golf, perhaps they will include more courses for the new release??? 😉

Both games have been gone now for month from NokiaSoftwaremarket, but at least they are still available at Club Nokia, at least here in Finland.
Club Nokia will expand to other countries and since the US is one target market, it might be that you have to might until Club Nokia will have a US website and hopefully you will get the games, maybe even updated versions.

😉 Well i really think they are upgrading it... coz i have both of the game and to my opinion it's not worth the price...

snowboarding: the game quite okay but lacks of cool sounds and no background music... so no much differ from the demo...

golf: currently only one golf course included... adding more would be cool...

soccer: just wait for it till the next world cup i guess... 2006??? hehehe...

Bah you have to pay for these games???? I was under the impression that Nokia was supplying them free through Club Nokia (the only reason I registered there). Snowboarding sounds interesting, golf games I enjoy but only one course? That and nothing has ever beaten Microprose Golf on my Atari ST. Finally the footie game, seems all well and good, ain't seen screenshots of it, but I'd be quite happy with a Sensible Soccer clone.

Unfortunately Club Nokia doesn't mention anything about the Soccer game. Hopefullly it will come out before the next World Cup... 😉
Nokia hasn't btw updated their own 9210 games site. For Soccer it still says "available from Club Nokia during Spring 2002" 😃

I subscribed at Club nokia hoping to get all of those games free, but well Club Nokia just sucks 😉 Even their site is lame.
The games seem to be added to Handago
It seems they have reduced the price a little...
But still... not enuff... huh???

 waddaya think??

Well, I used the link supplied by Dazler (thanks, Bro!) but was still unable to purchase it -at the point of submitting the order, a "HTTP error:NULL" occured. I called Customer Service, and was able to purchase it over the phone (NEWBIE10 coupon code will get you 10% off).

Email said it was the full version I was downloading, so no code was necessary. Unfortunately, it installed the "1 hole/Unlock Key required" version. I am now in a Customer Service queue for help.

Does anyone know if/how the wind affects the game? Is there a way to know at tee-off?
