I'm quite pissed off today. I was quite tired last night and did not hear my phone's alarm clock this morning.
I double-checked that my phone wasn't on 'silent mode', but it wasn't. Now I'm trying to adjust the volume, but it doesn't seem to work with the multimedia volume, or any other volume, for that reason.
Please help!
Get a really loud wav and select it as alarm alert?

Was thinking of doing that, but that doesn't really answer my question.
I guess the answer is ''NO'' then. I so don't want to get an alarm clock again!

er, I've never found any way to get the alarm louder other than to use a louder sound (the 'Old Fashioned' is suitably loud to penetrate even my slumbers), but of course this fails to work quite dismally when, like I did yesterday, you leave the phone on 'Silent' mode. 😮ops:
SE: please add a timeout to silent mode to the wish list -- e.g., silent for xx hours, then revert to normal settings, where xx is a user-settable amount.
which firmware are you using? I have this problem with this latest phone i got. I am using R2D now. I know it is not the latest firmware but it is the latest firmware compare to the other 2 P800 I used.
My first and second P800 was R2A and R1A respectively and the alarm sounds very very loud. With this R2D, it is soft! like a girl! :evil:

The only solution is to use a loud wav, mid file - that woke me up yesterday. Thank goodness!
Yes, my alarm clock used to be ok with my older firmware (R1D), but now the default alarm clock is way too soft....

That actually works?.. Maybe I should get nokia's alarm tone, cause it sure woke me up. Then again, the gunshot from 50cent.com's intro wakes me up everytime 😃

Oops, sorry, the last post was mine. I forgot that I cleaned out my temp internet files and erased all cookies as well! *smacks forehead*
I think I'm also getting 'the bug', because my battery is starting to run down faster than before - and I can't really see what app is causing it.
as for the alarm, all i can think of is to select a loud wav file as ur alarm tone. Old Fashioned should do the trick. iv put the baywatch theme on my fone which is wat i use as the alarm.
