So where are all the P800 review ?
With the phone so close to production, some people claiming to be able to deliver in the next week or so, and various dodgy versions on ebay etc. where are the reviews. I would have thought there would be previews of beta versions at least.
e.g. Someone is selling one on ebay. I'd say it is a scam, but this guy has got an excellent feedback profile. see below.

I've been looking for reviews for a while now too. Strange that there arn't any. Maybe there are still far to many bugs in the software for it to be released the the print press/internet reviewers.
As a note, the ebay auction you linked to looks very dodgy. The photograph the seller claims is his, has actually been stolen from '3G Mobile Gallery' a very popular mobile phone website. It's been cropped so as to remove the site's watermark. :x
The seller is probably expecting stock by the time the auction ends, either that or he's a theif? :-?
The release date is supposed to be Q3, so unless we are talking a major slip in time scales I'd be surprised if bugs is the reason.
Hopefully, they are just keeping a tight lid on things, with lots of NDAs. That way, they can make a big fanfare when it is actually launched.
If there are big delays, I'm looking at either a Nokia 9210i or a HP 928 (Pocket PC). Both are second choice, assuming the P800 is as good as it looks, though I might still change my mind.
I might be tempted back to the dark side (PocketPC club) if things don't move along soon. I'd have to take a real good look at the HP before considering it though. It's the only PPC I'd consider at the moment.

I think you are right in that the P800 would possibly be past the 'bug ridden' stage by now. I'm desperatly waiting forone too, but i'm seriously considering replacing my 9210 with a cheaper and more attractive Samsung T100 as a quick fix. The T68i's O/S is far too slow, and the unit underpowered. The Philips Fisio 820 is ugly as sin, while the Sagem MY-X5 is, well.... a Sagem.
All I'd like is a colour screen, to do list, speaker phone, and GPRS in a small package. There just isnt much around that can do that other than the huge 7650 and the Sagem.

Actually, excellent may not be the best word 😊 . The person could do with a little more practice on camera use. But they are informative pictures.
